As Seen On TV
Live to Disk recording means that you do all the editing while you record your show, your event or seminar to your hard disk.
Lower production costs
Video producers currently have to spend many hours editing their takes to get a professional looking result. Post production is a time‐consuming part of their workflow. BoinxTV reduces the overall production time dramatically as cuts, graphic effects, titles and more can be applied during the recording of the show.
BoinxTV leverages advanced Mac OS X system technologies to achieve in software what would otherwise require expensive hardware in a traditional studio.
And with all the ‘real stuff’ available in BoinxTV, video producers can create shows in a higher production quality in less time at a fraction of the cost.
Get immediate results
It is just plain fun to work, and then immediately see what you have produced, especially for those in front of the camera!
Customizable to your needs
Using your own station logo is a snap. But that's not all. For more complex requirements BoinxTV can be expanded, using custom layers. You can either create your own layer with Apple's Quartz Composer software or let Boinx do the stuff for you. Learn more…

The OutputOnce the credits roll and you press the stop button, BoinxTV has created a QuickTime file on your hard disk, ready for playback.
There are several things you can do with it:
- Transcode and Publish
BoinxTV uses QuickTime to automatically convert the file to the format you need—for example, H264 for web movies. If you have the proper codecs installed, it can also provide Windows Media File format or Adobe Flash. Upload the file to YouTube, blip.tv, sevenload and other video sharing platforms. - AppleScript
Use an AppleScript to create a workflow—for example, to automatically upload the created files to an FTP server or video sharing platform. - Apple Podcast Producer
BoinxTV interfaces directly with the Apple Podcast Producer which lets you execute very sophisticated transcoding and automated publishing workflows.
Post Production (optionally)
Although eliminating the need for post production is a goal of BoinxTV, you can use the QuickTime file in Final Cut to trim the recording or remove unwanted sequences.
